West Coast Women Unite Bandana

14.00

On January 21st, 2017 hundreds of thousands of west coast women marched for dignity, human rights, and the power of women in the face of a national government that threatens to undermine these values. It was important for us to bear witness in public space. We made this bandana to represent the feminine spirit of the West in these marches.

This is a movement-building project. Proceeds from the first run of this print piece raised over $1,000 for SF's Homeless Prenatal Program.  Proceeds from our second print run will also benefit this program.

This bandana was created by women from the Bay Area.  It was printed by Chris who generously donated his print shop and expertise. You can see his great work for yourself here and here.

Our next community print project will be about immigration.  Stay tuned...

We support the Women’s March Platform: We believe that Women’s Rights are Human Rights and Human Rights are Women’s Rights. We must create a society in which women – including Black women, Native women, poor women, immigrant women, Muslim women, lesbian queer and trans women – are free and able to care for and nurture their families, however they are formed, in safe and healthy environments free from structural impediments.
